Shawn William is a Grammy-nominated spoken word artist, national poetry finalist, published author & storyteller from Oakland, California, whose work bridges raw emotion, musicality and lived experienced. With over two decades dedicated to his craft, Shawn has become a powerful voice in contemporary poetry know for delivering performances that feel as intimate as they are electrifying. Shawn has graced some of the nation’s most iconic stages, including the Apollo Theater and Radio City Music Hall. His work has also been featured

on major platforms such as The Essence Festival, The Arsenio Hall Show, The ESPY's and Verses and Flow. He has toured with Grammy winning artist Jill Scott and selected as one of only five artists for a prestigious residency at The Kennedy Center (Before Trump messed everything up).
